MITEK INDUSTRIES SUBSIDIARY ACQUIRES RKL BUILDING SPECIALTIES CHESTERFIELD, MO – August 1, 2013 - MiTek Industries, Inc. (Chesterfield, MO) announced today that its Hohmann & Barnard, Inc. subsidiary (Hauppauge, NY) had completed the purchase of the assets of Astoria, NY- based RKL Building Specialties Company.

Hohmann & Barnard, Inc. (“H & B”) is the world's largest manufacturer of reinforcing products, anchoring and flashing systems, vapor barriers and restoration products for masonry construction. RKL manufactures and distributes custom stone and masonry anchors and accessories throughout the northeast, with an especially strong presence in the New York City market.
